We always aim to begin work on your order promptly so that, if you have ordered a personalised product, you have a proof as soon as possible. However, please reach out to us within 12 hours of your order being placed and we will do our best to accommodate the change. However, after 12 hours, work may have already begun and the change might not be possible. Please note that, in rare cases, changes might impact the shipping/delivery time.

If you are ordering one of our non-personalised pre-created prints, then requests to change or cancel your order may not be possible as we print to order. We aim to have your order placed into production, produced and shipped to you as soon as possible.

Yes, they absolutely are! All of our bespoke portraits are created by our incredibly talented team of digital illustrators. They put their creative hats on and begin the process of creating a masterpiece – in our unique style.

Choosing the right photos is important when placing an order. There is no need to worry though… Before we begin creating the artwork, we will review the photos to ensure that they will help our design team provide the best result. If we have any comments or recommendations then we will contact you and work with you to find a more suitable image.

A few points to consider:

  • Please use high resolution photos – taken in a well-lit area. It is best to avoid filters where possible.
  • Make sure that you use photos that have nothing blocking the main subject – such as objects or shadows. This could distort the colours and the end result.
  • Photos that are taken up-close and at the subject’s eye level typically work best.

We have also created a handy set of more detailed Photo Guidelines that you can review for more information and recommendations.

Of course! To offer additional comfort, we will always send you a proof for any personalised item for you to review – it has to be perfect before moving forward. This provides you with an opportunity to request any edits at that time. Please add studio@handdrawnmoments.com to your contact list so that our email is delivered successfully in your Inbox. The last thing we want is your portrait being sent to Spam/Junk!

Yes! We appreciate that you might prefer a portrait without a name or any text involved – and that is absolutely fine. Please just leave the text lines blank when ordering.

That would be our pleasure! As part of our service offering, we give you the choice – you can either have your print only, or have it framed in a black or white frame.

Don’t forget that we also offer canvases.

This comes down to your personal preference when ordering, based on the photos you select. However, from our experience we have found that illustrations of individuals, groups of two, a single pet, and even homes, tend to suit portrait (vertical) better. Whereas, groups of three or more people, for example, will tend to suit landscape (horizontal) illustrations more.

Good news! We do offer a ‘In a Hurry’ service. This extra cost will move your order ahead of the others and our designers will begin working on your portrait sooner. Therefore, this could then move into production at an earlier date.

Please note that this will not impact the delivery time once collected by the courier service.

If you cannot find a size that suits your requirements… No problem! Please email us on studio@handdrawnmoments.com and we can look into creating a bespoke size for you.

If ordering a bespoke artwork piece that is printed and shipped to a delivery address then we would typically recommend 10-18 working days for the whole process – subject to proof approval and if any amendments are required to designs.

Whereas if you are ordering one of our non-personalised/pre-created prints then the timings will be significantly reduced. As we print to order – we aim to have your order placed into production, produced and shipped to you as soon as possible.

Yes, we do ship worldwide!  We pride ourselves on being as green as possible, so we have partnered with manufactures in locations all-around the world… We will automatically select the manufacturer – where that product is available – nearest to the delivery address provided. Not only does this help minimise our carbon footprint – but also helps with delivery timings once the product is approved.

With tracking your order – no problem! As part of our standard process, once an order has left the manufacturing facility, we will send you the tracking details via email.

Of course – the more the merrier! You may select up to five people or pets. Select the appropriate option at the checkout and be sure to include the names/text and photos of each, or as a group.

We are sorry to hear that you are not 100% satisfied with your order and would like to return this. Given the bespoke nature of our work, we do not offer a returns service. However, we will work with you to ensure this is put right.
